Rosatom aims to have 28 power reactor construction projects in Asia by 2030, up from the 10 projects it now has, the ROSATOM's strategy and investments director, Igor Karavaev, said September 14.

Karavaev spoke at the World Nuclear Association's 37th annual symposium in London.

Rosatom has contracts to build 10 reactors in Bangladesh, China, India and Vietnam and is in negotiations to build two more reactors in China. The additional 16 projects it targets to have under contract by 2030 are for 12 more reactors in India, and two each in Malaysia and Indonesia.
