On April 23 Rostov nuclear power plant produced 100 billion kWh of electricity since its first reactor startup in 2011, the plant reports.

The plant’s second reactor was accepted for operation in 2010. Both reactors of 1,000 MW installed capacity each generate daily more than 50 million kWh of electricity.

In the last year only Rostov plant generated 15,803,700,000 kWh to outstrip the yearly plan by 106.6%.
