Rosatom State Corporation and the Chelyabinsk Region will cooperate in nuclear medicine. The respective agreement was signed 14 November in Snezhinsk by Sergey Kirienko, director general of Rosatom, and Mikhail Yurevich, the governor of the Chelyabinsk Region, the governor’s press service reports.

The document defines specific fields of cooperation. In particular, it is planned to set up a center to be responsible for improving radiation medicine technologies, developing and introducing advanced diagnosis and treatment procedures, and training medical and technical specialist staff.
