Atomenergoprom, the state-owned holding company that unifies the Russian civil nuclear industry, has reported a more than 25% year-on-year increase in profit for 2017, of RUB116.2 billion (USD1.87 billion), in its consolidated financial statements according to international financial reporting standards.

The company attributed the increase to the “stabilisation of exchange rates” and the “absence in the reporting period of a significant loss on exchange rate differences”.
