On May 14, 2018, the first day of the X International Forum ATOMEXPO 2018, the plenary session “Global Partnership – Joint Success” will be held.
The session moderator will be Charles Hednry, former minister of energy of UK (2010-2012), President of the Council of the Russian-British Chamber of Commerce and a Honorary Member of the British Institute of Energy Economics. The expected speakers are Alexey Likhachev, Director General of ROSATOM; William Magwood IV, Director-General of the Nuclear Energy Agency of the Organization for Economic Development and Cooperation (OECD/NEA);  Mikhail Chudakov, Deputy Director General of the IAEA; Lyubov Glebova, a Member of the Council of Federation of Russia; Vladimir Semashko, Deputy Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus; Mohammed Shaker, Minister of Energy of Egypt; Necati Yamaç, Deputy Undersecretary of Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of Turkey; and Hortensia Jimenez Rivera, General Executive Director, Bolivian Nuclear Energy Agency.
 The event will be held as an exchange of opinions. Planned discussion topics are how close the “global partnership”, which is announced by today Forum’s name, now has become over the past 10 years and what are the trends and events in the world nuclear sector development would become the basis for structuring this global partnership? The discussion will cover problems of ecology, appearance of new nuclear power growth centers on the planet, and formats of nuclear partnership. The discussion participants are expected to touch upon problems of development of new high-technology technologies and safety issues. Special attention will be paid to trends of nuclear power developments for the next 10 years.

The International Forum ATOMEXPO has been held since 2009 initiated by ROSATOM.
