31 May 2021 - The Moscow Exchange registered the exchange-traded bonds program of Atomenergoprom JSC, the company holding Rosatom’s civil assets.
The exchange-traded bonds program and the securities prospectus were approved at a meeting of the Board of Directors of Atomenergoprom, which took place on 26 April 2021.
The total (maximum) par value amount of all issues of exchange-traded bonds placed under the exchange-traded bonds program is RUB 100 billion inclusive. The maximum maturity of the exchange-traded bonds placed under the program is 3640 days from the placement starting date. The program has no expiration date. The securities prospectus was registered at the same time as the exchange-traded bonds program.
The bonds are planned to be publicly offered using the Moscow Exchange trading and settlement systems. The exchange-traded bonds program may also include the placement of “green” or “social” bonds. The bonds placement was organized by Alfa-Bank, VTB Capital, Gazprombank, Moscow Credit Bank, Otkritie Bank, Rosselkhozbank, Sberbank KIB, Sovcombank.
The funds received from the placement of bonds under the program will be used to finance ROSATOM’s sustainable ("green") programs and projects. In particular, the first issue of the issuer's bonds under the approved program is planned in the amount of 10 billion rubles and intended to refinance the previously incurred Wind Energy program costs.
To date, NovaWind JSC (Rosatom’s wind power division) has already commissioned wind farms with a total capacity of 420 MW in southern Russia. Three more wind farms with a total capacity of 300 MW will be commissioned in the Stavropol and Rostov Regions by the end of the year. In total, NovaWind companies are to build wind power plants with a total capacity of 1.2 GW by 2024.
