On April 25-27 Tashkent hosts the International Industrial Exhibition "INNOPROM. Central Asia". At the exhibition, the Russian State Corporation ROSATOM has presented advanced technologies and products in various fields – from radiation technologies for agro-industrial complex and medicine to effective solutions in the field of energy storage.
The stand presents a project of a Multipurpose Irradiation Center, which is implemented jointly with GATTER GROUP, a partner from Uzbekistan. This is a system for treating agricultural and medical products with ionizing radiation. The use of radiation treatment, which is safe for humans, makes it possible to increase the shelf life of products several times over. The production capacity of the Center is designed for treating more than 70 thousand tons of fruit and vegetable products and 7 thousand tons of medical products a year.
The stand also presents extensive information on cooperation of ROSATOM with Central Asian countries both in the sphere of energy and in science and nuclear technologies as well as promising directions of cooperation.
As part of the business program of the forum, Vadim Titov, President of the Rusatom International Network industry complex, will speak at the session "International Cooperation in Central Asia: New Products and Technologies" on April 25, and Sergey Migalin, Deputy CEO for Economics and Finance of Concern Rosenergoatom, will speak at the session "Cooperation in Industry: Digitalization, Automation and Advanced Technologies" on April 26.
"ROSATOM is not just about nuclear power solutions, on which we are negotiating with our partners in Uzbekistan. ROSATOM is one of the global technological leaders actively developing high-tech advanced technologies – production of composite materials, energy storage solutions, digital technologies to create comfortable urban life, – said Vadim Titov. – We are ready to offer cooperation in these directions to all interested state and private companies of Central Asia".
