The social policy is an important element of the human capital management at ROSATOM, which is aimed at attracting and retaining young and highly skilled specialists, increasing attractiveness of employer and employees’ engagement, rendering social support to employees, their families and veterans of the nuclear sector.

The Uniform Sectoral Social Policy of ROSATOM and its organizations has been developed and implemented to establish uniform approaches to form the social policy of employees. The implementation of the social policy in the nuclear sector is based on the principles of transparency, accessibility and openness.

The priority areas of the ROSATOM’s social policy have been reflected in the corporate social programs (CSP) which are being implemented at the sectoral enterprises. In particular, these are voluntary medical insurance programs against injuries and illnesses; health resort treatment programs for employees and their children; child’s leisure activity programs; assistance to employees in improving their housing conditions; assistance to employees; support to unemployed pensioners; organization of sports and cultural events; organization of catering; and organization of non-state pension schemes.

There are specific examples of interaction as regards assistance in improvement of the educational and sports infrastructure of ROSATOM enterprises’ host cities. They are described in the corresponding section. The program “ROSATOM’s School”, which has been implemented since 2011, has gained high speed. It is aimed at creating conditions for balanced intellectual development of children and teenagers of host cities of ROSATOM’s enterprises and organizations.
