Rusatom Overseas JSC (ROSATOM division) will hold a roundtable discussion on “Hydrogen Power Engineering around the World and in the RF: Development of Technologies and Projects” as part of the 12th International Forum ATOMEXPO-2022, November 22.
The event will be attended by representatives of government agencies, leading Russian and foreign energy and industrial companies, scientific enterprises and development institutes. Announced speakers: Denis Klyapovsky, Deputy Director, Department of Machine Tool and Investment Engineering, Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade; Wang Xining, Market Development Director, China Energy Engineering Corporation (China); Essam Kafafi, President and Owner, Fleet Energy Ltd; Irina Gaida, Expert, Energy Transition and ESG Project Center, Skoltech, Member of the Board of Directors, NOVATEK; Anton Maximov, Director, Institute of Petrochemical Synthesis of RAS; Evgeny Pakermanov, President, Rusatom Overseas JSC. Oleg Zhdaneev, Deputy General Director REA, Ministry of Energy of Russia, will moderate the roundtable.
The discussion will touch upon the main aspects of the hydrogen program development in Russia and its partner countries, current problems and prospects of hydrogen technologies in Russia, and the issues of import substitution and hydrogen sector development support. Evgeny Pakermanov, President, Rusatom Overseas JSC, will speak about the development of low-carbon hydrogen power engineering in Rosatom.
