The joint educational project of the Engineering Division of ROSATOM and Higher Engineering School of MEPhI National Research Nuclear University became the winner of the All-Russian competition of best practices for youth employment, organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation. The competition was co-organized by the Ministry of Education of Russia, the National Agency for the Development of Qualifications, the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and the Agency for the Development of Skills and Professions.
The MEPhI HES project was recognized as the best practice for youth employment in 2022 in the nomination “Best Support Practices from an Educational Organization to the Workplace” - the principle of “seamlessness” when working with students in the Engineering Division of ROSATOM. The joint educational project of MEPhI HES has been implemented since 2017, 100 students have graduated for this period. The main goal of the project is the staffing of the Engineering Division digital unit by IT specialists. The principle of “seamlessness” in the interaction between the employer and students is expressed in four dimensions: employment of students from the first days of study at the Educational Programs Center of ASE JSC; conducting a mandatory part of MEPhI HES training program at the division sites, where lecturers are employees of Atomstroyexport and industry experts; solving real business problems when students join project teams to work on company projects; creating a labour pool for the Digital Unit of the Engineering Division.
