ZIO-Podolsk, a subsidiary of Atomenergomash, has signed a contract to supply four sets of moisture separator-reheaters as part of work to upgrade two turbines at unit 2 of the Metsamor nuclear power plant in Armenia.

Atomenergomash, the equipment building subsidiary of Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom, said the equipment dries and heats wet steam from the high-pressure cylinder of the turbine. The unit is one of two reactors in Armenia, but the only one in operation.
